The rules are really very simple:
Refrain from obsenity. We have young people on the site here, and I wouldn't like to risk offending them.
Do not harass people- there will be no incessant PMing attacking another person, and if such an event is brought to my attention, I will have no choice but to take extreme measures, especially should the behavior continue.
Don't create threads unless it is an area where threads are supposed to be created. ie- the three broomsticks off topic area. If there is a thread you'd like created, you may seek approval from me.
Do not spam. Meaning- No one word posts, unofficial advertising (unofficial advertising includes Mass PMs, or PMs in general. You may leave your affiliate code, and I will put it up so that there is a link on the bottom of the page. This is the only place I want to see advertising.), ect. Some people are very picky about this- I am usually lenient on the aspect of one word posting... however, I don't want to see it repeated too often. It should not be used as a way to get galleons.
No double posting. You may modify an entry if you have something to say before another person responds, but if the last post was from you, don't post a new response.
NO DOUBLE ACCOUNTS. I have many ways of finding out when you are making double accounts. If you are going to use the same email for another person, you must tell me first, so that I may determine whether or not Double accounts are occuring. I can also track computers, and will not hesitate to do so.
Signatures have a limit of how big they can be. No one is allowed a signature larger than 600 x 150 pixels (length x width if you are confused).
Stay on the topic of the thread you are in. There are plenty of boards for off-topic conversation, but if you are in a specific thread, stay on topic.
I reserve the right to change and add to these rules at any time, and punish any misbehavior. I expect a good sense of judgment on your part- you should realize what is and isn't appropriate.
Don't give out the password to your house. If anyone is caught doing so, I will be most displeased.
Three consecutive warnings will result in a week long ban. Two following warnings will result in a life ban.
Follow these simple rules, and we will stay on good terms
